This Trainer
contains a triple varactor-tuned FM Receiver with digital display. The
highly sensitive, high quality training unit teaches the principles of FM
reception. A Quadrature Detector and Signal Level Indicator is included,
along with a pair of 2 Watt output Audio Amplifiers. The Receiver has a
sensitivity of 6 microvolts. A Center Tuning Meter and Stereo Indicator
are included. A bank of 12 malfunction DIP switches provides for fault
insertion. The panel is reversible, enabling the student to work from the
reverse side during troubleshooting. The Audio Output of the Receiver is
designed to feed 8 ohm loudspeakers. The course provides for 40 hours of
instruction.
