SPECIFICATIONS

SIP375 Optoelectronics

The Optoelectronics Course covers a wide variety of optical transmitter and receiver circuits, as well as circuits involving power control. Fiber optic Loss measurements are also included. The Laboratory Manual includes a study of Time Division Multiplex and Laser Communication Devices. The equipment covering these subjects is included in the Signal Multiplexing Course (SIP379C) and Laser Communications Course (SIP376BC). A comprehensive manual is included in this study. The course provides for approximately 80 hours of instruction.
