COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Foundations of Nursing course was designed for use in an entry-level program for nurses, LPNs, nursing assistants or nurses' aides. The course includes more than 80 medical units of instruction, arranged in twelve separate modules. Each module stands alone.
Health care teachers can work with the class as a single unit, or students can work at
individual workstations in smaller groups, as in a technology education program. Numerous hands-on activities are included in each module, as well as a variety of CD-ROMs and videotapes. The course also covers the study of physiology and anatomy arranged according to human body systems.
