The principles of brazing and soldering all types of joints are well defined in this program.  Definitions and explanations of the possible uses of these two joining methods are also discussed.  The importance of a clean surface and several methods, such as flux, to ensure a clean area are demonstrated.  Also, the process of furnace brazing is explained so that the viewer will be able to use it in the proper application.  The different methods of inspection that are necessary for each type of joint are shown so that the viewer can understand the importance of consistent joints.  16 minutes.
