Microwave Components
SCOPE
OF THE STUDY
The Microwave
Components course covers transmission line characteristics and basic horn
antennas. The materials, operating in the X-band, utilize quick clip
connection for rapid assembly and change, while maintaining secure
construction. A microwave transmission module is provided, and for
accurate measurements, the Microwave Power Meter (S365PM-A) is included.
The comprehensive text-lab manual (SIP365BM) contains over 500 pages. Materials for seven experiments are included, as well as a components rack.
The manual contains the same theory topics as offered in the Microwave Communications Course, SIP365BC. However, the transmitter panel with module and receiver panel are omitted. Only Experiments 3 to 8 of the manual are included in the laboratory work. The Microwave Antennas Course, SIC363AOC, including additional advanced experiments and components, can be added.
