COURSE DESCRIPTION
The trainer is designed to provide a minimum of 16 malfunctions that frequently occur in refrigeration and heat pump systems.  The trainer is a heat pump system with controls that operates from 230 VAC-50/60 Hz or 115 VAC/60 Hz.  The instructor can insert specific problems to be located by the trainees.  The student troubleshoots by making measurements from test points located on a system flow diagram.  The A/C system is covered by this flow diagram, limiting access.  

COURSE TIME:  50 Hours.

PROGRAMMABLE MALFUNCTIONS

  1. Bad low voltage transformer connection to thermostat
  2. Faulty thermostat
  3. Blocked evaporator tubes in cooling mode
