Regulated Power Supplies

SCOPE OF THE STUDY
This course focuses on the theory, application and techniques used in troubleshooting
basic power supplies which are often encountered in commercial, industrial and consumer
products. The student is taught how the circuits operate and how to troubleshoot prewired
circuits by using test equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
DIP switches enable various regulators to be interfaced with rectifiers and inverter
type circuits. A DC to AC inverter is used as the basic power source, to which rectifier
circuits and regulators are connected.
The panel for this course may be powered by inserting it into the
S300B
Master Builder, or the S300PSB Power Supply Base. If, in
your curriculum, you desire to do general breadboarding, select the S300B.
