SIP329BC
AM/SSB/CW Radio Receiver

SCOPE OF THE STUDY

This radio receiver insertion panel training course is designed to introduce the student to radio communications via free space and ionosphere. With an appropriate outside antenna, the world of shortwave listening will open up to the student.

The comprehensive manual presents the principles of radio receivers, radio wave propagation, world-wide time signals, UTC, and the measurement of various radio receiver parameters including sensitivity, selectivity, and minimum discernible signal (MDS), path loss, and noise plus laboratory experimentation, review questions and answers.

FEATURES

bulletApproximately 5.5 to 20 MHz Coverage --Covers Major Shortwave Bands
bulletSeparate Tuning Across the 20, 40, and 80 Meter Amateur Bands
bulletDigital Readout of Tuned Frequency--Accurate to plus/minus 1 kilohertz
bulletSingle Conversion, Single IF Amplifier (455 kilohertz) Receiver
bulletSeparate High and Low Tuning Range Local Oscillators
